BioArts is developing a line of business called Global Embryo Express (GEX), which will produce build-to-order premium cattle and horse embryos for both Chinese agribusiness and the global export market.
The embryos will be created by artificial insemination (AI) using semen from specific bulls into specific heifers (or stallions into mares in the case of horses), after which the resulting embryos will be flushed and shipped to the client in advanced, microfluidic embryo regulators. BioArts has filed international patent applications on the embryo regulators as well as the concept of online genetics profiling and embryo production/delivery.
